You draw the distinction between Trump and what "could be even worse" as the "total chaos" in various cities. It is obvious, but it bears saying, the chaos you speak of occurred on HIS watch, not some phantom Democrat.

In addition HE played a large part in all of this by the way he fanned the flames of division and racism. That was/is one of his only talents. The way in which he mishandled the pandemic and subsequent economic decline only served to make social unrest even more likely, with so many people being dislocated from their normal lives.

Then of course, he chose to bigfoot the mayor of Portland and the governor of Oregon by sending in federal agents to put down the unrest. THAT made it worse and after several weeks they ingloriously left.

Yes, I agree. Trump got elected because a LOT people perceived that he was the antidote when in reality he was the disease.
